Quadriptychs
(kwah-drip-ticks)
Artworks that have four panels, or four sides, are known as 'quadriptych'.
My abstract digital designs are based on rotating a stack of colorful square panels. Pictured here are a few examples in the "Independence" series.
People can display the designs any way they choose. There is no "correct" orientation. Cause and effect is the overall metaphor.

The key frame
This abstract design, shown on a paper-cutting mat, is the top or 'key' layer in an animation series. New designs result when the layers are rotated. The "Independence" series contains this layer, followed by two shades of blue layers, and one red layer.
What is it?
I'd like to know what you think. I will be sharing my intentions on this site and my Instagram account (quadriptychs).
